What if I told you that the goodness you seek is slipping through your fingers? That the very thing you toss away without a second thought could be the key to better digestion, glowing skin, and a body that feels lighter and more alive? It’s time to think, eat, and live differently, starting with something as simple as pineapple tea.
When I was tangled in perimenopause aches and pains, I was spiralling downward very quickly. Despite knowing that food has a huge impact on the way you feel, my hormones directed me otherwise. Stepping into menopause and as symptoms began saying goodbye, I started finding new ways to care for myself. That PAUSE—it's everything. It gave me the space to notice, to see what I was truly consuming and, more importantly, what I was throwing away. And that’s when I saw perfectly good, nutrient-rich pineapple skins going straight into the bin.
The Benefits of Pineapple Tea
So I researched the benefits of pineapple tea, and here's what I found. Beyond it delicious and refreshing taste, pineapple tea is a powerhouse of wellness.
Boosts Immunity – Packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, it fortifies your body’s natural defences.
Aids Digestion – Bromelain, a natural enzyme found in pineapple skins, soothes bloating and supports gut health.
Reduces Inflammation – Helps ease joint pain and swelling, making it a natural remedy for aches and stiffness.
Supports Weight Loss – A metabolism-boosting, low-calorie drink that aids in digestion and detoxification.
Improves Circulation – The manganese in pineapple supports blood flow and bone health.
Detoxifies the Body – Acts as a gentle diuretic, helping flush out toxins and reduce bloating.
Supports Radiant Skin – Antioxidants and vitamin C promote collagen production for a natural glow.
