5 Easy Ways to Upgrade Common Easter Treats

Make Easter be as delicious as the treats you serve!

One of the best things about Easter is the food — specifically, the treats. Kids can’t help but drool over it. It puts a smile on their faces and makes them very happy. Even the adults love it. Who doesn’t want to see their loved ones happy, right?

Our Secret

Preparing for any celebration is a lot of work and takes so much of our time. Easter celebrations are no different. But the most rewarding part is seeing everybody enjoy themselves and getting complimented and appreciated for all of our hard work. Since we want nothing but the best for you, we will share the secret to make hard things easy. Today, we will teach you how you can upgrade the design and presentation of your favorite Easter treats. Whether homemade or store-bought, these tips are surely going to make it look like you put so much effort into your Easter treats.

Treats, Treats and More Treats…

These are 5 of the most common Easter treats prepared to look very pleasing to everyone’s eyes. Your guests will surely be impressed at the level of effort you put in to receive them.

Chocolate Easter Eggs

Chocolate Easter Eggs

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • Fondant Icing
  • Food Color
  • Chocolate Easter Egg
  • Rabbit Cookie Cutter

You can make homemade Chocolate Easter Eggs and fondant icing or you can also buy from the store. When you have everything ready, mix the food color to the fondant icing to make it the color you want. In our case, we used pink. Use the cookie cutter to cut-out a bunny on the fondant icing. Feel free to experiment with other shapes that you think will look good on the chocolate easter egg. You can even stick a bow tie on your bunny for a touch of cuteness.

Chocolate Freckles

Personalized chocolate freckles

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolates
  • Fondant Icing

Simply melt the chocolate. Using a spoon, pour chocolate onto baking paper until you get your desired size. Start having fun sprinkling the freckles. Place the freckle in the fridge and whilst setting, cut-out your letter or shape on the fondant and adhere it to the freckle using a little melted chocolate to stick it in place.

Gingerbread Man

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • Gingerbread Man
  • Chocolate
  • Sprinkles

Read Gingerbread Man to learn how to make them tasty or you can buy them from the store. Much like what we did with the freckles, melt the chocolate and use a spoon to make small circles then put sprinkles and put it in the fridge to cool and set. Place them on the Gingerbread man to look like buttons.

Chocolate Easter Bunny

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • Chocolate Easter bunnies
  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolates

Melt your chocolates because we will use them as glue to get the sprinkles to stick on the Easter bunnies’ ears. Use a brush to coat the area where you want to put sprinkles on and sprinkle away. Refrigerate to set and add a ribbon to bring it to life.

Sock Bunnies

Sock bunnies made from scratch

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • Lonely Socks
  • Dry rice or beans
  • String
  • Ribbon
  • Marker
  • Cookie Cutter

Fill the sock with rice or beans and divide it appropriately to form a body and a head. Tie a string between the body and head to form a neck and tie another string above the head where the ears are going to be. Snip the extra fabric and make sure you leave enough fabric to form as ears. Wrap a ribbon around the bunny’s neck to activate the cuteness and use a marker to draw the eyes and mouth.

Go the Extra Mile

Giving your guests something to bring home to relive the memory is what separates a good host from a spectacular one. And if you can give them something well-made and aesthetically pleasing, then you just might be in the running towards becoming the best host ever. We suggest giving your guests the Mini Ginger Jar adorned with our Striped Ribbon. All the diningware you see in the photos can also be bought in our online shop.
